More Reasons to Not Pick Up Guys at a Bar

(alternately titled: I am the poster child for "she who attracts the worst of the worst.")

My father has always told me that chances are slim that I will meet the right guy at a bar. I used to disagree because I believed you could meet the right guy anywhere. However, the more guys I do meet at bars, the more I think my father is right. Maybe father really does know best?! Regardless, it's quite disheartening to realize because the eye candy in the places I frequent is delightful! So, I share with you more reasons (as if there weren't enough) to refrain from giving out your number at the bar.

...he's married, but shamelessly hits on anything with big tits.
...he's married, but removed his wedding band in hopes of picking up something "fresh."
...he spends 6 out of 7 nights a week at the bar, and everyone knows him.
...he's on the prowl for some booty, nothing more, nothing less.
...his girlfriend is out of town.
...he just wants to get you drunk and take advantage.
...he might be a stalker.
...he'll probably add you to his booty call list.
...he's too drunk to remember you the next day.
...he'll only invite you for dinner and then kick you out so he can go to the bar.

Lucky me, I've been privy to almost all of the aforementioned. Of course there are exceptions to any rule, because I have met some genuinely nice guys, but we all know they are few and far between. Then again, if bars were a prime spot to meet potential mates, they wouldn't need to serve lots of booze to get everyone liquored up would they?

Moral of the story: Ladies, in general, bars are for fun libations, not for meeting Mr. Right (although, you can find a plethora of Mr. Right Now).
