Can't you hear me knockin'?
This Saturday, a friend of Boo's is getting married. And he didn't invite me to come. He's making it out to seem like it's not a big deal, and he just wants to show up for a little while to be nice, as he's only known the couple about as long as he's known me. Still, I'm kind of offended that he wouldn't ask me to go with him. I'm probably overanalyzing it like I often do, but I can't come up with a good reason for him not to ask me to accompany him. But I suppose that's why men and women are so different. He probably hasn't given it a second thought, and I'm troubled by it. It's almost like he's holding me at arm's length and is afraid to let me any closer...and things like interacting with his parents or accompanying him to a wedding is too close for his comfort. It bugs the piss out of me.

That would piss me off as well!!! It seems like he is doing the "yo yo trick" with you. Reels you in and gets close and then pushes you away...just to reel you back in. Put your foot down. He should be proud to be with you and want to show you off, even if he's only known the couple as long as he's known you...
"he's only known the couple about as long as he's known me"
So apparently, he's know the couple long enough to be invited to the biggest day in their life, yet he hasn't known you long enough to take you. You have to be at the point where you question why he wouldn't bring you. You brought him to a wedding 5 months ago!! He trusts you to stay in his house for 5 days, but doesn't want to bring you to a wedding. Even if only for a few drinks. You are completely right to wonder. Stop wondering. Start questioning.
Yes, I do believe that we are dating the same man. Sad isn't it that there are more than one of them out there!!
At least we can form a support group now...haha
